The Concierge is the face of the Holbrook Center for Healthy Living (CHL) and creates a lasting first impression. The Concierge is responsible for, but not limited to, serving guests by warmly greeting, welcoming, and directing them to their appropriate service.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Warm and welcoming presence at the Center for Healthy Living's Concierge Desk.
- Answers phone calls and inquiries for all profit centers within the CHL.
- Adhere to all CHL standards and community specific standards.
- Have a thorough working knowledge of CHL services, hours of operation, amenities, etc.
- Notifies service provider of guests' arrival when appropriate.
- Offer beverages, refreshments, and chat with guests who are in the waiting area.
- Recognize the importance of "sales" in every aspect of the role and be responsible for achieving sales targets as set by the CHL management team.
- Recommend and upsell retail items, gift cards/certificates, services, and packages throughout the guest experience.
- Understand you are a part of a team committed to optimizing the overall wellbeing of our guests.
- Ensure Spa, WellFIT, and Salon areas are always impeccably neat and clean and are fully stocked with guests' essentials and other necessary items for an absolute five-star experience.
- Maintain hydration and refreshment stations for Zen Room and WellFit areas.
- Explain services and classes to guests in a clear and enthusiastic manner.
- Strictly enforce the privacy and confidentiality of all guest information.
- Processing of various method of payments accurately.
- Complete reservations, check-in, and check-out procedures accurately and with service excellence.
- Schedule spa treatments, salon, wellness, and fitness services at guest request using Booker by Mind Body software.
- Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately.
- Work well in fast-paced environment, high pressure situations and be able to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Demonstrate exceptional follow-up abilities and ownership of tasks assigned with a strong attention to detail,
- Follow-up with the specific CHL Director on all comments, concerns and suggestions made by guests, members, and associates.
- Able to address complaints and resolve guest problems in the absence of CHL Directors.
- Knowledge of all emergency procedures and the ability to assist and/or respond accordingly.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper uniform, and nametag when working.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
The successful candidate will…
- At least 21 years of age or older.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and/or preferably at least 1-2 years’ experience as a concierge or receptionist at a high-end hotel, spa, salon, or medical practice.
- Able to work holidays, weekends, mornings, and evenings as needed.
- Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.
- Has a practice of a self-care so there is a modeling of a healthy lifestyle.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Proficient in Windows software, social media, and copy, fax, and telephone equipment.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess strong organizational skills.
- Be able to operate with integrity always with patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward our guests.
