The Server/ Barista contributes to the restaurant team's success by ensuring the highest service and store standards are met. The Server/Barista assists the Food and Beverage Service Manager and Executive Chef in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. The Server/ Barista is responsible for providing excellent customer service to residents and guests in our food and beverage outlets, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
- Greet guests in a warm and hospitable manner
- Deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer.
- Discover and respond to customer needs.
- Develop positive relationships with team members by understanding and addressing individual motivation, need and concerns.
- Execute Zinnia store operations during scheduled shifts by following operational policies and procedures.
- Maintain inventories by stocking coffee equipment and replenishing food and retail products.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Provide quality beverages, retail items, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Use operational tools to achieve operational excellence during the shift.
- Ensure dining room is prepared for guests
- Communicate orders to kitchen and bar staff
The successful candidate will…
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation and existing health and safety standards.
- Proficiency using kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Familiarity with best practices in the industry.
- Collaborative attitude with an emphasis on excellent customer service.
- Proven ability to effectively manage, direct, and lead a small team.
- Ability to delegate tasks and manage stations, multi-task, and manage time effectively.
- Effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and customers.
- Problem solving capabilities and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.
- ServSafe certification preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Barista experience preferred.
